Accor

The all new premium hotel, The Sebel Melbourne Ringwood, is available for bookings from today via all.accor.com with guests invited to book now to be the first to visit the state-of-the-art establishment in the burgeoning Ringwood region from 22 February, 2021.

In an effort to encourage guests to relax and unwind, reconnect with loved ones, regroup as a business team, or simply escape the confines of home following a long stint of lockdowns in Victoria, The Sebel Melbourne Ringwood is providing guests with a special offer, of 50% off the second night, when staying for two. For absolute peace-of-mind during uncertain times, guests are able to cancel their booking right up until 6pm on the day of arrival with absolutely no cancellation fee.

With the opening offer and super flexible cancellation policy, General Manager Edmond Power says you won't find a better time to book.

“We're thrilled to be accepting reservations and our super flexible booking policy will certainly give people confidence to plan ahead. We look forward to welcoming people from all over Victoria and indeed Australia to be able to re-discover our backyard, re-connect with friends and re-unite with loved ones from 22 February.

“Plus, if you're a member of one of our loyalty programs, ALL - Accor Live Limitless or Accor Plus, there are even more benefits to booking now, including a chance to win a Melbourne Arts Experience Package, equipped with everything to enjoy Melbourne at its best in 2021,” Mr. Power said.

Located at the gateway to the Yarra Valley, just off the Eastlink freeway, The Sebel Melbourne Ringwood is ideally located for business and leisure activities throughout Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. The design-driven hotel holds 103 premium rooms and apartments each containing Australian owned Biology Skincare products, De'longhi espresso machines and Australian made Luxury pillow top beds featuring gel infused memory foam, manufactured by Sleepmaker, exclusively for Accor. There are also 15 rooms with full kitchenettes available on request. Guests will have access to impressive on-site amenities including, The Orchard: a delicatessen, bar and restaurant, an ultramodern fitness centre, four sophisticated and well-appointed meeting spaces and an open-air terrace.

Construction of The Sebel Melbourne Ringwood hotel began in July 2019 and while the pandemic and lockdowns resulted in a short launch delay, Mr Power says the job creation as a result of the hotel's development has been a welcome positive.

“The obvious benefit of the build has been the job creation, particularly during this time where unemployment in Australia is significantly high. Over the life of the project the construction of the hotel engaged 415 tradespeople and by the time we're fully operational we'll create an additional 40 ongoing jobs in the hotel.  We've started the hiring process and it's great to see the wealth of talent from Melbourne's eastern suburbs, which is where our first cohort of employees have come from.

“Ringwood is becoming an increasingly important commercial corridor and we anticipate that the addition of a premium level of contemporary accommodation will increase demand into the area which will have tremendous flow on effects for other local businesses. We are also in incredibly close proximity to the Yarra Valley and we're confident that having this type of refined and considered accommodation at its fringe will greatly support the wine region's businesses, including cellar doors and wedding venues,” Mr. Power continued.

Guest safety is of the utmost priority for The Sebel Melbourne Ringwood, with all staff undergoing comprehensive training regimes, additional disinfection in the already stringent cleaning protocols for high-touch areas and changes to luggage handling, all of which is in accordance with parent company, Accor, and its ALLSAFE label.

The hotel is in close proximity to a range of destinations including, 250m to Eastland Shopping Centre the second biggest shopping centre in Victoria, Ringwood Clock Tower, Ringwood Train Station and Lake Park and Maroondah Hospital, with a short drive to the Dandenong Ranges National Park, Domaine Chandon Yarra Valley, Rochford Wines Yarra Valley and Healesville.
