Goulburn is a progressive regional City that is driving the agenda for change; and some proud local residents are coming to The Westin, Sydney from 6pm-8pm on Thursday 23rd July 2015 to prove just that.

Key media personnel and freelance journalists are invited to join in this rare opportunity to hear recent success stories firsthand, and meet some of the locals who are driving the change.

Goulburn Mulwaree Council's General Manager, Warwick Bennett said “The aim of this public relations exercise is to raise the profile of the Goulburn region, and to highlight that there are big things happening in both the tourism and economic development sectors.

“New residents to the area, industry leaders, local icons and successful community members will be present on the night to share their stories and successes, and the reasons they choose to call Goulburn home.”  

“This event will be the first in a series of events that will take place in Sydney and Canberra to generate interest in Goulburn,” said Mr Bennett.

The media night also aims to expand on the work that has been undertaken to date through the 'Right Now In Goulburn' campaign, promoting Goulburn as a destination to visit, live, work and invest.
