The Goring is thrilled to announce their second partnership with one of the UK's best-loved chefs, Rick Stein, for a one-week pop up culinary extravaganza from 14th- 20th June. Renowned across the country for his exquisite seafood cookery, Rick and his team will unleash iconic Rick Stein dishes bursting with lobster, crab and the freshest fish imaginable for guests over a series of lunch and dinners in the sunny veranda overlooking The Goring's majestic secluded garden.

As well as an utterly luxurious overnight stay (with a guaranteed upgrade), guests will choose a three-course lunch or dinner of exquisite fish and seafood, created by the supremely talented Stein family. A Rick Stein book will be included as a memento for guests to take home.  

Keeping it in the family, Rick's sons Jack and Charlie Stein will host an intimate demo during the pop up, with an additional meet and greet book signing event with Rick later in the week.

The series of lunches and dinners will incorporate Rick's signature dishes such Whole Dover Sole meunière with noisette butter and Tronçon of Turbot with Hollandaise sauce, plus Sea Bass Ceviche with red chilli, tomatoes, red onions, coriander and avocado and crispy Smoked Mackerel and Green Mango salad.

The pop-up week marks the second collaboration between Rick Stein and The Goring following 'A Taste of Cornwall at The Goring' in 2017. “Some of the best seafood in the world comes from the pristine waters around Cornwall” says CEO Jeremy Goring. “We're looking forward to bringing Rick's culinary masterpieces to London once again this summer”. 

The Rick Stein pop up at The Goring is the cherry on the cake for a brilliant summer lineup that includes The Lobster and Fizz Garden from 17th May onwards, plus Britain's most popular little pony, Teddy the Shetland as 'pony in residence' from 16th - 31st August. Teddy will pack his saddle bags and live in The Goring Garden where guests will be able to enjoy a limited-edition Teddy the Shetland afternoon tea and a special Teddy overnight package.
