About The Facilitator
Born and raised in Bali, but have been calling Toronto home in the last 25 years, Savitri Talahatu is an inter-disciplinary teacher with 30 years of teaching experience. As a teacher and practitioner of yoga and meditation, she weaves the physical and philosophical aspects of yoga with daily spiritual practice making this ancient wisdom applicable for today's lifestyle. Her classes are poetic and uplifting, relaxing and energising, suitable for beginners and seasoned practitioners. She has been facilitating yoga and wellness retreats, and teaching at a few 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teachers' Training programmes (Hatha-Vinyasa and Kundalini) for years. She is also a certified Lifestyle Coach, Holistic Wellness Practitioner, Doula and Childbirth Educator, and Usui Reiki Master since 2003. Savitri founded Kundalini Yoga in Kensington Market, Toronto in 2009 to provide a safe haven for busy city dwellers to learn profound tools for a happy, healthy and holistic lifestyle.
