Residence Di Ripetta Hosts Its Second Luxury Wedding Day

Royal Demeure

August 2014: Residenza di Ripetta, the historic 17th-century hotel in the heart of Rome, is holding its second Luxury Wedding Day on Saturday 20 September from 3pm- 8pm. The wedding event has grown following the success of the inaugural event in 2013 and is set to play host to even more experts after receiving a great response from couples.

The event is designed to showcase all elements of luxury weddings to couples looking to get married in Italy's romantic capital city. Brides and grooms to-be will be able to meet with the country's leading wedding experts and top designers in the gardens of Residenza di Ripetta and the oratory of the former church.

Visitors to the Luxury Wedding Day will be able to meet with experts to gain inspiration and help arranging all elements of their big day with the event space designed by Patrizia Caccia. Guests can arrange everything from elegant bridal gowns and groom suits down to clothes for their dog. The finer details will also be covered, such as flowers, honeymoons, favours and even doves for the ceremony.

Dating from 1675, Residenza di Ripetta is a former Baroque convent in the historic centre of Rome, a few steps from Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps. With its 69 rooms, Residence di Ripetta offers a discreet service, a wonderful view over the rooftops of Rome and the Giardino di Ripetta, the leafy inner courtyard which, during the summer, offers moments of absolute relaxation among sofas and a large gazebo. As a former-convent, the Ripetta is a fantastic setting for a stylish, typically Italian wedding reception.
