Renewed Noosa Impresses VIP's

Tourism Noosa

50 top conference organisers and product managers from Australia and New Zealand experienced a taste of Noosa on the weekend.

Visiting Noosa for the unveiling of the Sheraton Noosa Resort & Spa’s $10 million makeover, the group were hosted by Tourism Noosa on a series of famils around Noosa.

With a choice of three famil options, delegates had the opportunity to get out and about and enjoy a wide range of experiences from Noosa including stand-up paddling, an Ocean Rider experience, touring the Noosa River, visiting local farms, producers and restaurants, as well as a private cooking demonstration from Chef Peter Kuruvita.

Liz Grossman from Air New Zealand Holidays enjoyed her visit to Noosa and said “Noosa blew me away, it is just so beautiful and the food tour was a great way to discover the diversity that Noosa offers.”

Tourism Noosa General Manager, Damien Massingham said “It was a great opportunity to showcase Noosa to this influential group of conference organisers and product managers who have the potential to market and sell Noosa to both the domestic and international markets.  The famils offered an insight into the wide range of activities on offer for both corporate and leisure guests to Noosa.”

“Congratulations to the Sheraton Noosa Resort & Spa on the completion of their renovations. This major refurbishment reflects a renewed investment in development and enhancing the tourism product in Noosa which will ultimately bring benefit to the region as a whole.”
