Regent Hotels & Resorts and Adriatic Marinas recently topped-off the new Regent Porto Montenegro Hotel & Residences, a luxury hotel and residence development in the Adriatic's premier superyacht marina. To date, almost 71 million US dollars  have been invested in the hotel with the opening scheduled for summer 2014.

Following tradition, representatives from both Regent Hotels & Resorts and Adriatic Marinas, the developer behind Porto Montenegro, laid the last brick together on top of the 6th floor penthouse, marking the completion of the building's commanding Italianate structural frame.

Regent Hotels & Resort's President, Mr. Ralf Ohletz, expressed his unbridled enthusiasm for the hotel, "We are incredibly excited to add the Regent Porto Montenegro to our portfolio of luxury resorts and destinations. We feel we have something remarkable with our newest venture, and we can't wait to share it with the world."

Mr. Mladen Miranovic, Member of the Board of Directors of Adriatic Marinas, thanked the various partners involved
in the construction process, including local company Yu Briv, construction company Strabag, project managers Mace, ReardonSmith Architects from London and interior designers from MHZ in Paris.

"Yu Briv and the internal team have worked incredibly hard to ensure that the project is being delivered on schedule. We are pleased to announce that the hotel will be open next summer, which alongside our marina development will drastically increase the visitor capacity of Porto Montenegro village."

The Regent Porto Montenegro will comprise a total of 83 units, 34 of which will be dedicated hotel rooms or suites, while the remaining 49 will be made available as exclusive residences.

Owners of these residences, ranging from studios through penthouses, will have the flexibility to reside in, or rent their rooms to visitors, besides the gorgeous Bay of Kotor. Facilities will include a fine dining restaurant, a bakery, cigar lounge and library bar, swimming pools and a signature Regent Spa and fitness center.

Through this partnership with Adriatic Marinas, Regent Porto Montenegro is re-affirming its position as the most comprehensive luxury yacht homeport in the Mediterranean.
