Liverpool FC are once again visiting Europes premier professional football training venue at La Manga Club, southern Spain, for a pre-Christmas mid-season training camp from December 7-21.
Reds manager Rafael Benitez took his first-team squad to La Manga Club in May 2007 when he said: The facilities and service are excellent and I am convinced that everyone involved will leave here highly impressed.
On this occasion the visitors will be members of the Liverpool reserve team squad who are taking advantage of gap in reserve-team fixtures to enjoy some warm-weather training and team-bonding.
Liverpool will also be taking on some of the regions leading sides as they incorporate two matches into their schedule the first against FC Cartagena and the second, a week later, against Real Murcia.
La Manga Club boasts the best facilities in southern Europe for professional sports teams, with eight international-standard grass pitches and a host of other amenities including three 18-hole championship golf courses and the five-star Hotel La Manga Club Principe Felipe.
Liverpools visit is just the latest example of the resorts increasing popularity with British professional clubs, with West Brom, Celtic, Wolves and Sheffield United among those to have visited recently. The resort is also due to host the prestigious Leaders in Football conference in March 2010.
Liverpool fans wanting to see their heroes in the sun can stay at the resorts five-star Hotel La Manga Club Principe Felipe from just XX per person per night.

Between two seas Region of Murcia Discover the two seas that bathe the Regions coastline. The Mediterranean is a warm sea, dotted with coves and fine sandy beaches, which offers unforgettable diving both because of the clarity of its waters and because of the exuberance of the marine life that thrives there. The Mar Menor is the ideal setting for water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, canoeing or jet-skiing. The absence of large waves makes this lagoon into an unbeatable ally when it comes to harnessing the winds. Suitable for all levels.
