Brand new for 2014/2015 season, Skyfall is the first, and possibly last, chalet to be built in St Christoph for fifty years due to strict planning regulations. The chalet comprises four separate apartments ranging from two to five bedrooms, which can be rented individually or together for larger parties. Interior design by David Linley uses materials, such as reclaimed Austrian Stone Hearted Spruce, granite floors and worktops, beaten copper splash-backs and stainless steel appliances to create an environment that is at the same time traditional and ultra-cool. Chalet Heidi, Zermatt, Switzerland 

A radical refurbishment has not spoilt one of Zermatt's most charming apartments. Heinz Julen Loft, Zermatt, Switzerland 3 

Named after its designer, Heinz Julen Loft is an ultra-cool Manhattan loft style apartment with panoramic views over the village. Design uses glass, steel, wood and textured concrete throughout though clever use of throws, leather and wood add warmth. Julen's signature touches are evident in the fireplace cradled in a wall of glass and the brilliant dining table which can be lowered and raised as required via an ingenious pulley. A mezzanine entertainment area is accessed from the massive living-dining room via a beautifully designed steel and glass staircase. Internal and external glass walls create a sense of light and space.
