Ready Camp Expands For 2016 Season

The Camping and Caravanning Club

Ready Camp, a specialist “glamping” concept launched by The Camping and Caravanning Club last year, has expanded its network of glamping opportunities to meet demand ahead of the 2016 camping season.

Originally featuring 17 sites, there are now 29 Ready Camp sites - hosting a total of 101 tents - close to many of Britain's best-loved tourist spots.  Best of all, there's no need for anyone to fill their vehicles to the brim with camping gear, as the only things needed on a Ready Camp break are bedding, towels and a sense of adventure.

Each Ready Camp tent offers a comfortable and hassle-free experience to anyone who is keen to camp, without having to hitch up a caravan or pitch their own tent.

Ready Camp tents can accommodate up to six people, so there's plenty of room for all of the family to spend a night under canvas.

The glamping units come fully furnished with a double bed, a triple bunk bed and single stow-away bed.  There's also a kitchen with a fridge, microwave and hob, basic cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, a sofa, dining table and chairs, a lockable storage cabinet, electric sockets and lights.

Washroom facilities are also available on all Camping and Caravanning Club Sites, where holidaymakers are guaranteed to find immaculate facilities.

Stretching from Scone in Scotland, to Cardigan Bay in Wales, Kessingland in East England, and Veryan in Cornwall, the Ready Camp sites have been carefully selected to ensure there are plenty of local activities nearby for all the family to enjoy and to offer domestic holiday makers the chance to discover “the best of Britain”.

What's more, a holiday with Ready Camp costs from just £20 per tent per night in low season.

Ready Camp surpassed all expectations in 2015, and its expansion is aimed at giving even more families the chance to explore nature both easily and affordably.

In a recent customer survey, Ready Camp proved to be popular for both new and seasoned campers, with 94.1% of all respondents saying that they would use Ready Camp again.  And more than half of all Ready Camp bookings since its launch have been made by non-members of The Camping and Caravanning Club.
