Ramblers Worldwide Holidays (RWH) is pleased to announce its support of the Britain on Foot (BoF) campaign by becoming a BoF Partner with a donation towards the Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) initiative that aims to encourage more people to become active in the outdoors.

RWH operates two programmes within the UK providing a great choice of holidays throughout the country.  These are, Ramblers Countrywide Holidays - guided walking holidays around Britain and Ireland  www.ramblerscountrywide.co.uk. And, Load Off Your Back - self guided holidays designed especially for the independent walker www.loadoffyourback.co.uk.

The donation will be used exclusively for the BoF campaign and is a valuable contribution towards the already impressive fund generated from donations from the outdoor trade.

The campaign has Government support as well as backing from organisations such as the National Trust and Ramblers.

Commenting on the BoF donation, OIA Chief Executive Andrew Denton said, "This donation is further recognition of the importance of the BoF campaign by the trade. We are grateful for this support from Ramblers Worldwide Holidays and will be using the donation to support the continued growth of the BoF campaign. The entire focus is to get more people active in the outdoors, to improve their health and happiness."
