110 guests attended the seventh annual Gala Dinner at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney on 22nd September 2017.

The event, attended by the founders of the Touched by Olivia Foundation; John and Justine Perkins, who lost their 8-month-old baby daughter Olivia to a rare illness, the Foundation's CEO, Bec Ho and Minister for Counter Terrorism and Corrections, The Hon. David Elliott, was held in the Marble Room at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney.

The evening raised in excess of $50,000 for the Touched by Olivia Foundation which will use the money towards the purchase of a wheelchair accessible carousel to be installed at a playground in Sydney.

The hotel and their partners donated all of the services for the evening including the food, wines, AV support, entertainment, room design and prizes allowing all of the funds raised to go to the charity. In addition all the staff donated their time to support the event throughout the evening.

It is our major fundraising opportunity and is our way of giving back to the community who support us. This is part of our commitment to a 5-year plan to support organisations or charities associated with children – progressing through various life stages from premature babies (Royal Hospital for Women being the chosen charity last year) through to adolescence. We are delighted to be supporting the Touched by Olivia Foundation to help raise awareness and funds to build more inclusive playspaces for children of all abilities.”
