Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney is pleased to congratulate two employees who have been recognized at the annual TAA Awards for Excellence. David Bayly was awarded employee of the year for Public Relations, Sales & Marketing Employee. Wayne Arthur was highly commended as front house employee of the year. 

Radisson Blu General Manager Peter Tudehope was ecstatic about the commendations by TAA and said "Both David & Wayne are an invaluable asset to the Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney team and have been long time employees and it's great to see that they are recognized by the industry as being the best in their fields." 

David Bayly beat stiff competition from the InterContinental, Langham and Hilton. Mr Bayly noted on his win "To be awarded as employee of the year will definitely be my highlight of the year and I couldn't do it without the effort of my team at Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney their invaluable efforts to promote the hotel do not go un-noticed." David also said "I look forward promoting the hotel into the future particularly with the up coming redesign of Bistro Fax Restaurant in a new location" 

The 16th annual Awards for Excellence was opened by the NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell, who acknowledged the important role of accommodation and service to the tourism industry. The Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) Awards for Excellence are recognized as the most prestigious hospitality awards, honouring the achievement of excellence in a wide range of categories in the accommodation industry.
