The finest Victorians hotels came together to attend the 2013 TAA State Awards for Excellence gala dinner at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. This prestigious event saw close to 400 hoteliers join hospitality industry leaders for an evening that celebrates outstanding achievements within the industry.
radii restaurant & bar, the stunning Park Hyatt Melbourne restaurant was announced as the winner of the Deluxe Restaurant of the Year award.
Upon receiving the award, executive chef Dane Clouston commented "I would like to thank Pankaj Bisht, all the chefs in radii kitchen and all of the wait staff for their hard work. I am proud to work with such a professional and determined team and without them; this would not have been possible. "
Park Hyatt Melbourne was also named a top five finalist in the Best Environmental and Energy Efficiency Practise and the Deluxe Accommodation Hotel of the Year categories.
Darryl Washington, General Manager of TAA (Vic) praised finalists, award winners and individuals who were honoured. The award winner for the Deluxe Restaurant of the Year was decided after mystery shoppers visited the nominated restaurants and experienced the service, food, wine and ambience first.
