Rabbie's Small Group Tours Launches Its London To Edinburgh UK Tour

Rabbies

Witness the very best of the British Isles with Rabbie’s Small Group Tours first UK tour. Travelling from London to Edinburgh, passengers will visit the highlights of the UK in a seven day extravaganza.

The Highlights of England and North Wales seven day tour covers some of the best locations in the country including the mountains and stunning Crusader castles of Northern Wales, the scenic beauty of the Peak District, historic York and the Scottish Borders.

The week-long journey will run between May and October, departing on Fridays in London and finishing in Edinburgh on the following Thursday. With a changeover in York in between, travellers will stay in Chester, York and Keswick for two nights each.

Hazel Rickett, managing director of Rabbie’s, said: “This is an exciting launch for us and we are confident it will be popular with our customers as it’s a completely new experience. We currently operate out of both Edinburgh and London so the next natural step for us was to link the two cities creating a UK wide touring product.

“By linking the two cities, our customers can see the stunning British countryside in the comfort of a tour bus, guided every step of the way – something that isn’t possible on a train or plane. Our tour allows passengers to travel from London to Edinburgh at a relaxed pace where customers will experience some of the highlights of the UK that are often missed when other modes of transport are taken.”

Travellers will get the chance to explore the highlights of England and North Wales, including Shakespeare country, the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, the mountains and stunning Crusader castles of Northern Wales, the refined elegance of Chester and Chatsworth House, the scenic beauty of the Peak District, historic York and York Minster, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, the Yorkshire Dales, Lake Windermere, Wordsworth’s Cottage, Hadrian’s Wall and the Scottish Borders.

Travelling in comfort in luxurious Mercedes minicoaches and with a maximum of just 16 passengers, Rabbie’s experienced and entertaining driver/guide will take visitors off the beaten track to experience the real magic of the UK. The accommodation on offer through Rabbie’s has been carefully selected to suit every budget and taste.

The Highlights of England and North Wales seven day tour – a combination of its new four day heart of England North Wales and York tour from London, and its five day York, the Dales and Lake District tour – will depart every Friday between Friday 3 May and Friday 25 October 2013, priced from £458 per adult.
