Thailand's multi award-winning boutique resort, The Sarojin, has launched a brand new experience, inviting couples to “Share a Little Love” and celebrate their union this Valentine's Day. The 56-room luxury resort's new experience will offer a day to share and celebrate love and romance with a range of memorable experiences involving Buddhist monks, local children and Thai elephants – all designed just for two!
As part of this new experience, couples will awaken to a sumptuous breakfast with sparkling wine delivered to their luxury residence by their own private butler. In their own time guests will transfer by luxury car to a local Thai temple where they will receive “A Buddhist Blessing of Love” from a Thai Buddhist monk. This very special and intimate experience is designed to bring couples closer to Thai custom and culture, and to each other, as the head monk gently pours holy water over them while chanting ancient mantras to honour their love with his spiritual blessing.
After the blessing, couples can develop a connection with Thailand's sacred animal, the elephant, and become an “Elephant Owner”, learning how to care for these majestic mammals in the spectacular surroundings of Khao Lak National Park. Guests will be taught the key responsibilities for looking after happy, healthy elephants, including a special opportunity to ride them without the use of a seat and make a splash in a spectacular jungle river.
Guests are then invited to give back to the local community as they work in loving partnership to prepare an authentic street food lunch for a group of local disabled children as part of a heart-warming “Street Food, Cook For Kids” activity at the Camillian Social Centre. Under the expert guidance of The Sarojin's Executive Chef Gogh, couples will assist the children with creating Thai street food delicacies before joining them for a very memorable lunch.
As the sun sets, The Sarojin offers guests another unforgettable experience to end this very special day, inviting couples to choose from a variety of spectacular locations to dine that night for a most romantic evening. Options include a private candlelit dinner at a jungle waterfall, on a secluded stretch of white sand beach, “shipwrecked” on a private sand isle or at a beautifully-decorated pool pavilion. The Sarojin is also organising a special Valentine's Day dinner at its stunning Ficus restaurant. Couples will conclude their special day with a romantic turndown and “sweet dreams” in their luxury guest residence.
