TAMPA, Florida � For more than 17 years, Quorum Hotels & Resorts has operated and managed a collection of popular properties around the United States for various investment partnerships. Effective September 1, 2004, the company introduced the Quorum private brand into the lodging industry with the launch of their first-ever independently flagged property � Quorum Hotel-Tampa.

Formerly the Crowne Plaza Westshore, the 272-room Quorum Hotel-Tampa is located in the heart of the Westshore business district, just two miles from Tampa International Airport. To help define the brand within the lodging industry, the property is offering unique guest amenities such as complimentary morning massages, and complimentary manager�s cocktail reception nightly.

The Quorum Hotel-Tampa is currently undergoing a $5 million renovation scheduled for completion on December 1, 2004. The renovation project includes:

� Guest Rooms � All guest rooms will be updated in an island-inspired d�cor giving them a fresh, sophisticated look with new carpeting, paint, light fixtures, premium bedding and closet doors. All soft goods, including window treatments, duvet covers, pillows and shower curtains, will be updated in cool sage greens, crisp corals and creamy yellows. Finishing touches include hip coconut shell accent pillows, new stone-top tables and a colorful overstuffed chair.

� Lobby area � This posh and peaceful large open area will be home to a new custom built �floating� island-style desk, complete with mahogany wood and complemented by intricate stonework. Comfortable and colorful seating cabanas with a rattan backdrop line the walls, with mahogany wood chairs and benches for additional seating. Lush green rugs and bamboo accents define the theme.

� Blue Water Grille � A unique concept reminiscent of Ernest Hemingway�s days, the new Blue Water Grille will feature an array of freshly prepared menu selections daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A buffet is offered for breakfast or lunch on the go, and four plasma screen televisions keep business travelers �in the know.�

� Starbucks Cyber Caf� � The first of its kind in the Tampa-Westshore area, the new Starbucks Cyber Caf� presents guests with a morning �jolt� of coffee and free high speed wireless Internet access.

� Executive Club Level Lounge � The Executive Club Level Lounge is being renovated to reflect the island-inspired d�cor of the property, with a classic marble entryway, new carpeting throughout and updated wall coverings. The lounge will offer a new plasma screen television and additional seating areas for Club level guests.

� Public Spaces � All Quorum Hotel-Tampa hallways will receive new carpeting and wallpaper, matching the new look of the boutique-style property. The elevators are receiving a �lift� with the addition of new stone floors and new carpet in the landing areas.

� Exterior � The Quorum is receiving a makeover with the addition of exterior paint in rich golds and taupes. Lush landscaping will showcase swaying palms, colorful annuals and grand oak trees. The Quorum will welcome guests with a new porte-cochere with new brick walkways, light fixtures, doors and a new skylight.

� Meeting Space � A former restaurant is being transformed into an additional 2,000 square feet of meeting space. With this addition, The Quorum Hotel-Tampa will have a total of 12,000 square feet of flexible meeting and function space.
