(Algarve, Portugal November 2018) Quinta do Lago announces the opening of Dano's Bar and Restaurant, a new contemporary brasserie and sport's bar, set to be the lively epicentre of the newly completed CAMPUS, and heralded as one of Europe's most exciting sports and wellness centres.

Dano's name is inspired by two notable Irish sporting heroes, a champion diver and Gaelic football player. An elegant sporting theme is referenced throughout the space, with vintage paraphernalia and most notably, a graceful back-flipping bronze sculpture suspended from the ceiling to dramatic effect.  

Set in a barn-inspired, light-filled space with a chic-rustic vibe, Dano's provides a welcoming ambience with a diverse family-friendly, all-day dining menu. Dano's has something for everyone, serving an array of nutritious dishes throughout the day, and with a culinary team that is able to adapt to any dietary requirements. Menu items are created utilising the finest local, seasonal Portuguese produce to ensure freshness and quality on every plate.

The bar and restaurant will host live music nights, while the latest OLED wall-mounted plasma screen televisions will show all major sports events securing Dano's place as the social hub for Quinta do Lago and sports-loving families.

The interior by acclaimed Bryan O'Sullivan Studio combines old with new; modern feature chandeliers made from beer bottles, House of Hackney fabrics and a bar are adorned with traditional Portuguese blue and white tiles complete the restaurant's rustic yet contemporary charm. Nature-inspired colour palettes accentuate the beauty of The Campus and are a nod to the Ria Formosa and its verdant surroundings.

Spatially the layout is designed to create a good flow between the different functions, while allowing guests to drift seamlessly from bar to dining areas, whatever the time of day or occasion. The terraced area accommodates up to 90 with vast windows keeping the connection with the outdoors helping give a sense of place.
