The media is invited to attend a grand opening ceremony for the Quality Inn Airport on Wednesday, March 31 from 4 - 6 p.m. The event will take place at the hotel, located at 711 East 32nd Street. There will be a drawing for a two-night stay prize package in addition to many give-aways. Chamber of Commerce members, local business representatives and local civic leaders are expected to attend.

Known locally as the oasis in the desert, the Quality Inn Airport is owned by Los Padres Inn Inc. of Los Gatos, Calif. and operated by Monument Hospitality Inc. of Phoenix, Ariz.

The Quality Inn Airport features 80-units with king- or queen-size mattresses, an on-site restaurant and lounge, an outdoor pool, meeting space that can accommodate up to 175 individuals, and guest laundry services.
