Quaff a Taste of Cornwall With the Budock Vean's First Vineyards and Brewery Break - Sunday 31st May to Thursday 4th June 2015

Budock Vean Hotel

If all that beautiful “Poldark” scenery on TV is giving you a thirst for Cornwall the Budock Vean Hotel's first “Vineyards & Brewery Break” will be the perfect way to quench it.

The luxury country house hotel on the Helford River has teamed up with world-renowned Camel Valley vineyard near Bodmin, Skinners Brewery in Truro and Polgoon vineyard and cider orchards at Penzance to combine a five day odyssey of Cornish land and seascapes with the best food and drink the county can offer.

Running from Sunday 31st May – Thursday 4th June, the break is a chance to enjoy the comfort and luxury of this family run hotel set in 65 acres of the Helford “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” and to get out and about in some of Cornwall's other loveliest locations sampling award-winning Cornish sparkling wines, beers, ciders and juices.

Cornwall has long had a name for top quality food and drink and this break aims to provide a 'behind-the-scenes' taste of some of them – from the sun-drenched Camel Valley created by the Lindo family, to Skinners with its iconic Betty Stogs ale and the fragrant apple orchards and vineyards of Polgoon – with transport provided and plenty of samples to try (the Skinners ale-tasting offers a pasty and up to seven pints!)

“We regularly serve these fantastic beverages at the Budock Vean as part of our commitment to supporting local producers,” says the hotel's owner Martin Barlow, “but we thought it was high time we took our guests out to where they are actually made and to hear the fascinating stories of the families who have built them from nothing to world-famous in a generation. The vineyard and brewery visits should be a lot of fun but there's plenty of time built into the five days to relax and enjoy our lovely part of Cornwall too.”

The Vineyards and Brewery Break is from £665 per person including the three Tasting Trips with transportation from and to the Budock Vean, 5 nights' accommodation at the hotel, four-course dinners at its multiple-award-winning restaurant, full English breakfasts and full use of the luxury facilities including indoor pool, outdoor hot-tub, golf, tennis and access to the hotel's Natural Health Spa.
