It's hard to improve on a classic; the trick is to know what to refresh and what details are sacred. QT Sydney's Spring cocktail menu has landed, taking well-loved classics and giving them a playful punch, including the introduction of a signature Negroni Fountain for groups to share.
Handcrafted by some of Sydney finest bartenders, QT Sydney's newest tipples appear simple, but are big on flavour and charm. QT's mixology masters have layered guest-favourite spirits with homemade infusions, syrups and tinctures and dialled up the fun.
Having sold over 6,000 Negroni's since launch, QT Sydney's most-loved crimson drop is now available to share. Served out of a 19th century style vessel, the Negroni Fountain serves four and features QT's usual suspects of Bulldog Gin, Cinzano 1757 Rosso Vermouth and Campari joined by a hint of Braulio Amaro and garnished with orange wheels.
Other new additions include Papal Apple; the QT House Apple Martini. Vodka based and layered with tequila, it combines the richness of pear brandy, offset by the light acidity of verjus and bound together by a house-made Red Delicious apple oleo-saccharum. Another soon to be crowned crowd favourite is Dirty Dick's Fruit Disco combining the universally loved luminous liqueur Midori, married with Four Pillars Navy strength gin and shaken with house-made matcha syrup, citrus and egg white.
QT Sydney Bars Manager, Aaron Shuttleworth said: “The new cocktail list is fun and cheeky. We use serious technique in the back-end like milk washing, infusions and house made ingredients and then present a refined and deceptively simple end-product to the guest. The cocktails are minimalist in appearance but big on charm and flavour.”
The QT Sydney Spring Cocktail menu is available now in Gowings Bar and Gowings Bar & Grill.
