World Chocolate Day is being celebrated with a side of pillow talk.

Anything but ordinary, designer hotel brand QT Hotels & Resorts will be putting forward the ultimate indulgence, an ode to everyone's guilty pleasure, chocolate. World Chocolate Day is on 7 July and chocolate is a welcomed sweet treat at any QT. This is why QT Hotels NZ's destination food & drink experiences are putting on Room for Dessert – a decadent dessert offering served with your very own QT sleepover.

QT's signature restaurants will set the scene for spontaneity, adventure and romance, with all diners given the option to order a 'Room for Dessert' directly from the menu between 2 – 8 July, 2018. Once dessert is ordered, guests will be presented with a bespoke sweet treat with a twist - a room key - and will automatically be checked in for the night.

Participating hotels are QT Museum Wellington and QT Queenstown with both desserts designed to share with a date or a mate:

-QT Museum Wellington: Hippopotamus Restaurant will be serving up a chocolate dessert with the perfect pairing, red wine – specifically Château Mossé 1933. Indulge in; a sphere of dark chocolate and raspberry mousse encased in a decadent shell complete with a ricotta chocolate centre and QT Harbourview King room key.

Price: $389 per dessert

-QT Queenstown: Guests of Bazaar Interactive Marketplace or Reds Bar will be treated to a drinkable delight, designed by both experts. The cocktail is sweet on the eyes as it is on the palette, consisting of Goslings Family Reserve Old Rum, Balvenie 21 YO Portwood, Rose Rabbit Orange Liqueur, Tannacrieff Hunters Collection Ruby Port and Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters. It's complete with a chocolate garnish to awe and amaze, golden truffles and of course, key to QT Queenstown's Lake King room.
