QHotels, the UK's largest golf resort operator, has taken its commitment to raising golf membership numbers across England and Scotland to new heights after unveiling the best-value full membership deals in the country – offering six-week packages from just £45.
Following the successful launch of its new QFairway club – the country's most flexible golf membership – earlier this year, the AA Hotel Group of the Year has further underlined its long-term promise to grow the game by introducing its new QFairway trial membership programme.
Available to book until August 30 at all 11 QHotels' golf resorts including prestigious venues such as The Carrick at Cameron House, Slaley Hall and Belton Woods, golfers can take advantage of outstanding-value golf and a number of other attractive benefits with the innovative scheme.
In addition to offering full members' playing rights for a six-week period, players will enjoy 20 per cent discounts off food and drink, savings of ten per cent off golf lessons and in the golf shop and access to exclusive member events. They will also receive an exclusive joining offer during their trial membership period.
John Angus, group director of golf for QHotels, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the response that we've received since launching QFairway and are determined to build on the momentum that it has created.
“We see the QFairway trial membership as the next logical step and the programme offers incredible value, with many of the packages available for less than it costs to play one round of golf at a lot of golf clubs.
“The scheme gives people all the benefits of a full club membership without any long-term financial commitment and is perfect for those players looking to get back into golf membership. We believe it is the best-value membership offer to be found anywhere in the UK and are looking forward to welcoming many new members to our resorts.”
The new trial membership programme follows hot on the heels of the introduction of QHotels' hugely-successful QFairway club, with more than 1,000 new members signing up since its launch this spring including 200 juniors.
Hailed as the country's most flexible golf membership, the new scheme offers up to 50 rounds of golf for only £375 along with access to an impressive 15 golf courses.
The flexible points-based membership gives golfers all the benefits of a full club membership – including the facility to hold a handicap and playing rights for club competitions – while offering discount on food and drink, shop purchases, tuition, hotel bed-and-breakfast rates.
Points may be used for golf, leisure club and spa facilities and even buggy hire, and there are plenty of attractive features for younger family members to enjoy, too, with juniors aged 15 and under enjoying free membership when they sign up to the QFairway club, providing their parent or guardian also has adult membership at the same time.
The multi-award-winning, four and five-star QHotels collection offers championship-standard courses in 11 unique resort locations.
