The Puma Hotels' Collection is delighted to announce that it is a founding corporate sponsor of the Ashmolean Museum Broadway which opens on Saturday 7 September. The new museum is just two minutes' walk from the hotel group's world renowned property, The Lygon Arms.
Situated in a 17th-century house known as Tudor House, which has been renovated in a year-long project, the Ashmolean Museum Broadway will display a selection of objects and works of art from Oxford's Ashmolean Museum. The Museum will also feature gallery space dedicated to temporary exhibitions and works by local artists, as well as offering insight into Broadway's own heritage. It will be operated as an independent museum open to the public six days a week.
The corporate sponsorship of the Museum reflects Puma Hotel's continued focus on supporting the local community and is just one of many reasons to visit Broadway. The Puma Hotels' Collection has also recently launched Luke's Broadway, a modern British bistro located adjacent to The Lygon Arms and fronted by rising culinary star Luke Thomas.
To celebrate the launch, the Puma Hotels' Collection has partnered with the Ashmolean Museum Broadway to put together a special cultural package allowing visitors to enjoy dinner, bed and breakfast at The Lygon Arms, as well as entrance to the Ashmolean Museum Broadway for just £190, based on two people sharing a double room. A two night package is also available for £290 per couple. Bookings can be made via www.pumahotels.co.uk/ashmolean or by calling 0800 652 8413 and quoting 'Ashmolean.'
Fredrik Korallus, CEO of Puma Hotels' Collection commented: "It is a real privilege for the Puma Hotels' Collection to be associated with such a prestigious organisation and we are delighted to be supporting the local community by becoming a founding corporate sponsor of the museum.
"This is a really exciting time for Broadway with both the launch of Ashmolean Museum Broadway and Luke's Broadway coming in quick succession and we look forward to helping inspire more guests to visit the region, and The Lygon Arms itself, in the near future."
