It has been twelve months since the appropriately named Pullman Brisbane King George Square renamed its presidential suite to the Prince George Suite in honour of the royal birth in July last year. To commemorate the Prince's first birthday, and the first anniversary of the Prince George Suite at the hotel, Pullman is now offering a special rate for guests to experience the palatial apartment style suite for themselves.
To help continue keep the royal celebration twelve months on, the five-star Pullman hotel (located opposite King George Square and Brisbane's Town Hall) is offering a special discounted rate to experience Pullman's royal treatment and the regal Prince George Suite for themselves. From the 25th of July until the 31st of August 2014, Pullman is offering its best suite at just $365 per night – the price representing one dollar for each day that the Prince has celebrated his exciting first year.
The offer is available for bookings made to stay on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night only during those dates, and is subject to availability. Representing a saving of more than $200 off the regular lead in price for the upscale apartment, the generous package features not only overnight accommodation but access to Pullman's five-star Executive Lounge which offers evening drinks including Champagne and canapés. The rate also includes a daily buffet breakfast, in addition to complimentary carparking and wi-fi for two people for the duration of the stay.
The hotel's General Manager Grant Parnell said, “We only have one Prince George Suite available, so obviously it's a case of first in, first served to take advantage of this offer.”

ABOUT THE PRINCE GEORGE SUITE
Pullman Brisbane King George Square launched the Prince George Suite on 22 July 2014.
The hotel's General Manager Mr Parnell said, “Our top-suite's presidential title seemed a little disconnected to the hotel's name which already had a monarchical connection to King George V, so we jumped at the opportunity to update and bestow it with a fresh new title to celebrate the occasion last July. The name George - chosen for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby son - is synonymous with British kings including the Prince's great, great grandfather, King George VI, and King George V. Following the death of King George V in 1936, Brisbane's King George Square was widened to include the area which had been Albert Street, and renamed in honour of the King. So we decided to keep with the renaming tradition – a lot of people loved the idea and have since been in to try the suite out for themselves over the past year.”
