Increased print run, distribution and revenue
“Print isn't dead” says editorial director Leigh-Ann Pow
Australian Traveller Media, publisher of best-selling domestic travel magazine Australian Traveller, is excited to announce the release of its biggest issue in history.
The celebrated annual 100 issue – this year titled 100 reasons to get off the couch and explore Australia – has broken records for the company.
“Not only did we increase the print run, increase distribution, and due to popular demand, increase the actual size of the edition to more than 180 pages, but this issue is the most successful issue of Australian Traveller in the 15-year history of the publication,” says Marcus Hurley, sales manager of Australian Traveller.
“We can rest assured that the 100 and Australian Traveller magazine will continue strongly into the future and provide our audience with the best connection to their next incredible experience.”
Leigh-Ann Pow, editorial director, says: “Despite the huge changes we've seen in the publishing industry in the last decade, there will always be a place in the world – and on our coffee tables – for thoughtfully produced print publications. The success of our latest issue of Australian Traveller only goes to prove that.
“Print isn't dead… it's making a comeback.”
100 reasons to get off the couch and explore Australia hit shelves on 29 April.
