Princess Cruises is offering reduced fares on the third and fourth guests sharing a stateroom across almost 30 school holiday voyages for bookings made between September 15 and September 25, 2017. The offers, which include family and group savings, are available on sailings across Europe departing between May and August 2018.

A £50 per person deposit is also available, while third and fourth guests, including children, can travel from £99 per person.

Cruises are available on the five Princess ships that are in Europe next year:

·        Sapphire Princess will sail roundtrip from Southampton to northern Europe and the Mediterranean
·        Royal Princess will sail round Britain from Southampton
·        Pacific Princess will sail roundtrip from Dover to northern Europe
·        Crown Princess will sail across the Mediterranean from Athens, Barcelona or Rome
·        Regal Princess will sail from Copenhagen to Scandinavia and Russia

In addition, guests will be able to take advantage of free stateroom upgrades. A balcony stateroom on Sapphire Princess, Pacific Princess or Crown Princess is available at the price of an oceanview stateroom, while guests booking a mini-suite on Royal Princess or Regal Princess can do so at the price of a balcony.

Sapphire Princess, Crown Princess and Regal Princess will have redesigned children's clubs and youth programmes as part of the line's partnership with the Discovery Channel. In addition, across all ships there will be new activities and games for children including hands-on science experiments, mini golf tournaments, talent shows and LEGO boat-building competitions.

Meanwhile Royal Princess and Regal Princess will be fitted with the line's newest feature, the Ocean Medallion. The medallion, which is the same size as a 10p piece, will automatically provide information to guests to offer a more personalised onboard experience during their cruise. This includes giving real time information about onboard activities and providing interactive games across the ship, as well as allowing parents to locate where their children are onboard.

The Ocean Medallion, which is the same size as a 10p piece, will automatically provide information to guests during their cruise to give a more personalised onboard experience. It can be worn by guests as a pendant, on a wristband or simply placed in a pocket or bag.

It will launch on Royal Princess in November 2017.

The medallion will be used to:

·        Streamline the embarkation and disembarkation process, as the medallion gives quick and easy access to the ship
·        Lock and unlock an assigned stateroom door as guests near it, so replacing the current key card
