Press Trips with European Waterways
European Waterways are pleased to welcome aboard our hotel barges journalists/travel writers who are on assignment with a commission, or who are able to obtain one, with the proviso that we can reproduce any published articles on our website, in our e-newsletter and can use some photographs for our own marketing purposes.
The barge cruise will be based on two persons sharing a double/twin cabin and is inclusive of all meals, wines, drinks, excursions and transfers to and from the barge. It will not cover other transportation costs e.g. flights, rail travel, etc. Invitees will be encouraged to participate in all activities and excursions with our paying clients to fully appreciate the whole experience.
We also ask that journalists/writers do not mention that they are on a complimentary trip to our paying clients, as this can be a very sensitive issue. Please also ensure that any photography or filming of clients is only undertaken with their express permission.
As you will come to realize during your cruise, the hard-working crew will offer you exactly the same high level of personal service as for our other passengers, so please take this into account at the end of the week when considering a gratuity.
