A space has become available on a press trip to the gorgeous Sporades islands with the Greek National Tourism Organisation.
Only four of the 24 Sporades islands are inhabited and this trip visits three!
Situated in the Aegean ocean off Greece's Eastern coast, the trip starts on the little-known and rugged island of Alonissos, which is situated in the middle of a marine park. It has exceptional hiking routes and is a haven for nature lovers. It's home to falcons and monk seals can be spotted in the sea. Visitors will have the chance to dive, snorkel and kayak in the clear sea and caves. Skopelos was made famous by the Mamma Mia! movie, and the trip will take in the hill top church, a traditional fiesta, the beaches and the Roman baths. Skiathos is the most visited of the islands and boasts lovely beaches, hiking trails and byzantine architecture.
