On 14 January 2016, the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, will present Paris's 83 Michelin starred-chefs with the City of Paris's highest award, the Vermeil Medal, at a ceremony that will take place in the reception rooms of the City Hall. The Mayor has extended the invitation to welcome the UK media to witness this unique event.  

In addition the 'Delicious Paris' press trip will reveal top Parisian gourmet addresses that have given the city its great reputation. It will also be an opportunity to introduce some of the lesser known and authentic addresses that should be in everyone's little black book of gastronomic Paris. Also on the menu are fun gastronomy-based activities, original tastings and a visit to the famous Rungis International Food Market.

All to be enjoyed without moderation of course!
