Atholl Estates is delighted to announce the opening of Marble Lodge, a charming highland lodge, set on the banks of the stunning River Tilt, in the Scottish Highlands.
Set on the bank of the River Tilt, a river renowned for its character and beauty, five miles up the private Glen Tilt road, Marble Lodge is a charming and comfortable centrally-heated lodge for up to four guests. Ideal as a base for fishing or walking, in the evenings you can relax by the open fire in the sitting room and step back in time to a more simple age. Originally a shepherd's cottage but now fully modernised and equipped, the lodge offers all the comforts to sleep up to four guests.
Surrounded by the wildlife and moorland wilderness of Glen Tilt, guests at Marble Lodge will be able to enjoy long walks along the pony tracks, or for the more energetic, several munros (hills over 3000ft) are within a day's hike. Angling enthusiasts will particularly enjoy the prolific salmon fishing available seasonally on the River Tilt and for non-anglers, the sight of these fish as they make their way upstream to spawn is an awe inspiring spectacle.
Atholl Estates showcase the finest Scotland has to offer, in terms of scenery, sport and hospitality. Located at the foot of the Cairngorms, with the picturesque village of Blair Atholl and magnificent Blair Castle at its heart, Atholl Estates provides a spectacular backdrop in which to relax and forget the pressures of everyday life. It is one of Scotlands iconic estates stretching across 145,000 acres of Highland Perthshire. The hills and glens are carpeted in heather and laced with burns and rivers.
