On behalf of World Land Trust, the international conservation charity, we would like to invite you to an exclusive Press Briefing on Friday 9 May 2014 in the Council Room at the Linnean Society of London, from 10am – 12pm.
World Land Trust is celebrating 25 years of successfully protecting the world's most biologically important and threatened habitats with a four-day symposium this week attended by key decision-makers from 20 of the Trust's overseas project partners including Vietnam, India, Malaysian Borneo and Africa. The Press Briefing will be the final stage in the events allowing journalists to meet the visiting conservationists, hear about the news from the symposiums well as discuss World Land Trust's plans for the future with CEO, John Burton.
The briefing will be chaired by Su Ingle, BBC presenter and supporter of World Land Trust since its inception in 1989, who will open the floor to the following topics:
- Overview and Symposium key outcomes by Su Ingle
- Q&A with Su and John
- One to one press meetings/interviews with overseas conservation partners
