Matt Sworder, a 28 year old marketing graduate gave up a lucrative career in insurance to work as a chef in some of London’s top restaurants. Training with Gordon Ramsay (La Noisette), Anthony Demetre (Les Deux Salons) and Adam Byatt (Bistro Union).
He has now opened his own restaurant in the very building he was born
The Corner House has a limited number of nights (there are only two rooms) to offer journalists with confirmed commissions to review its restaurant and explore the huge range of attractions the area has to offer.
The restaurant serves London-inspired modern British dishes within a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Seasonal, fresh local produce is key with the menu changing frequently, in accordance to seasonal produce availability.
Minster Station, a 5 minute walk from the restaurant, has excellent high speed rail links to London. Manston International airport is only 10 minutes away offering daily KLM flights that connect via Schiphol to the rest of the world.
