WHAT: Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper will hold a press conference to announce the multi-year booking of the nation�s largest girls� junior volleyball event, which will bring 8,000 team members and up to 20,000 family, coaches and spectators to Denver in 2005 with an economic impact of $10-$13 million. Many of the nation�s top women volleyball stars have played in this event in previous years, including 2004 Olympic Beach Volleyball Gold Medalists Kerri Walsh and Misty May, and 2000 Olympians Jennifer Johnson Jordan and Annett Davis.

WHEN: Thursday, September 30, 12:30 p.m.
WHO: Officials from the ASICS Colorado Crossroads Junior National Volleyball Qualifier, the Front Range Volleyball Club and the Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau will be on hand.
