The 18th century New Forest based coaching house, The Bell Inn, is delighted to unveil its new look as it completes an extensive refurbishment delivering the perfect blend of tradition with a countrified chic as well as rolling out a fresh, new brand design.
Owner, Robert Crosthwaite-Eyre said “We're thrilled to finally unveil our brand new look. Our enhanced Oak Room enables guests to experience the authenticity of our 18th coaching Inn, while still retaining its original charm and character but giving it a true home-from-home, contemporary feel reflective of today's age. Our aim is to offer visitors and locals to the New Forest alike, a friendly and authentic 'Inn' experience that's beyond compare.”
KeeN to continually evolve, the family owners of this independent country Inn have invested heavily in a bid to firmly position The Bell Inn as offering the most authentic Inn experience in the New Forest. The refurbishment has seen its intimate dining area, The Oak Room, undergo a complete revamp having enrolled the talented eye of London-based interior designer, Eyre Interiors. A natural oak flooring has been installed together with soft furnishing from William Morris, Barneby Gates wallpaper, Maisons du Monde and Anthropologies custom fixtures and fittings. New, rustic farmhouse tables, also throughout the bar and dining areas, complete the Oak Room transformation giving it an authentic 'quintessentially country' ambience.
Other areas updated during the refurbishment include the conveniences, and two large family rooms that have received stylish new updates including wall coverings, bedding and soft furnishings.
In addition, over the last few months, the Inn has overhauled its brand design to create a fresh new look more befitting with a family-owned local Inn set in the countryside and to establish some clear differentiation. The brand redesign has been rolled out with a new visual identity, retaining the family crest at the heart of its new logo, across all communications and collateral as well as an overhaul of the Inn's loyalty club for its regulars, renaming it The Grazing Club. The website will also benefit from a refreshed design, with everything set to go live by the end of February.
Robert went on to say “We're very much looking forward to the forthcoming summer season, together with some exciting new events we'll be hosting including our Argentine Wine Dinner, May Day Spring Fair and Gin & Jazz evening – perfect for the locals to come along and join 'inn'.”
