Poldark Walk on the Wild Side Walking Break With Bedruthan Hotel & Spa

Bedruthan Hotel & Spa

Embracing its position just minutes from one of the most breath-taking stretches of the South West Coast Path, (between the surfing town of Newquay and the quaint foodie mecca of Padstow) Bedruthan Hotel & Spa will be running its Walking Week Break- now in its third year- in September with a new twist.

Inspired by the popularity of the BBC drama series, this September's break will give guests the chance to explore Poldark County on a series of guided walks led by local expert Steve Crummay. With over thirty years of experience working as a conservationist and environmentalist in Cornwall, Steve's passion for and thorough understanding of the county is reflected in his engaging guidance. The three varied walks will take in dramatic Cornish coastlines, abandoned tin mines and iconic Celtic monuments, all with Steve on hand for insights of the history and geology of the county.

The hotel will be providing maps, compasses, waterproofs, picnic rugs and packed lunches to would-be-walkers, and all will be welcome; from the seasoned rambler to those after a country wander with friends.

After a day taking in Cornwall's sights on foot, guests can relax in the Sensory Spa Garden before enjoying a Cornish inspired dinner in one of Bedruthan's award winning restaurants.

The four night break will include dinner each night in the Wild Cafe (or in The Herring for an additional £5 per person, per night), lite*use of spa garden each evening, three guided walks**, a packed lunch each day and breakfast each morning.
