January 2022: To help make February half-term fun-filled, and financially fabulous, The National Lottery is offering £25 towards great days out at attractions and experiences across the UK.
The National Lottery Days Out vouchers offer savvy savers with a valid Lotto ticket up to £25 off entry through the VisitBritain shop at www.nationallotterydaysout.com.
Vouchers can be used to visit attractions close to home or explore further afield, and while you are making memories you will also be helping to support UK tourism.
Whether to inspire a budding adventurer, aspiring underwater explorer or would-be celebrity, or simply tempt them away from the screens and into the great outdoors, there's plenty on offer, including;
- Little, and not so little adventurers can test their mettle at Bear Grylls Adventure in the West Midlands, or head underground to the slate caverns of Zip World's Bounce Below in Snowdonia, 6 trampoline-style nets built into an area twice the size of St. Paul's Cathedral.
- For the aspiring Sir Lewis Hamilton, look no further than a trip to The Silverstone Experience where visitors can immerse themselves in the thrills of British motorsport, while fans of the beautiful game can head to Anfield for a Liverpool Football Club Stadium Tour and Museum
- Budding engineers can head to Bristol to explore the pinnacle of Victorian ship-building SS Great Britain, get creative at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Birmingham or Manchester, or crack the codes at Bletchley Park.
- Those with a trip to the nation's capital in their sights can brave London Dungeon, while star spotters could take in the celebrity residents of Madame Tussauds or spot an altogether different celebrity at Shrek Adventure Dreamwork's Tour.
- Animal lovers can enjoy a different zoo experience every day of half term with ZSL London Zoo, Northumberland Zoo, Belfast Zoo, Dartmoor Zoo, Blackpool Zoo, Dudley Zoo and Castle, Manor Wildlife Park (Wales) and Peak Widlife Park all throwing open their gates, while those who like their creatures of a more aquatic nature, can visit SEALife centres up and down the country from Great Yarmouth to Loch Lomond.
- If it's space to run, let off steam and enjoy the great outdoors, look no further than the iconic Stonehenge; Bedfordshire's Wrest Park which offers 90 acres and three centuries of landscape design, or there are eight Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust sites to choose from, from flamingos at Slimbridge Wetland Centre in Gloucestershire to Northern Ireland's largest collection of native and exotic ducks and geese at Castle Espie Wetland Centre.
Every week National Lottery players raise more than £30 million for Good Causes and this funding has supported 94 of the top 100 most visited tourist attractions in the UK** including Stonehenge, SS Great Britain, Giants Causeway and Bletchley Park.
The National Lottery Days Out campaign is being run in collaboration with VisitBritain to support the domestic tourism industry.
Redemption: To get £25 off days out with The National Lottery this February half term, National Lottery players should visit www.NationalLotteryDaysOut.com to receive one of hundreds of thousands of vouchers available. The promotion is open to players with Lotto tickets bought on or after 1st October 2021*. Players must use their voucher for a visit before 31 March 2022.
The money for this initiative comes from a National Lottery promotional fund. It is not being funded by money allocated for National Lottery Good Causes or by Camelot.
