In a budding photographers dream, Kangaroo Island Odysseys has partnered with professional photographer, Andy Rasheed from EyeFood Photography, to offer an amazing three day, all inclusive, Kangaroo Island Photographic Tour. Tours are limited to only seven places and depart Saturday September 17th and 22nd October, 2016.
Over three days photography enthusiasts will visit popular and iconic locations such as Remarkable Rocks and Seal Bay Conservation Park, see amazing wildlife and stunning landscapes, as well as discovering some of Kangaroo Island's hidden gems all while learning to take better photographs and enjoying the beauty of South Australia's Kangaroo Island.
Andy will be on location with the intimate group to help mentor and develop photography skills with hands-on photographic tuition. Andy will also run various workshops over the three days focussing on philosophy and approach, using natural light, composition and night photography.
According to Donna Gauci, General Manager of SeaLink South Australia, “Andy was the perfect choice of photographer for this tour, as not only is he a specialist location photographer, but nature has been his constant theme throughout his career.”
“We also wanted to keep these tours intimate so guests would really take away valuable photography lessons and receive that one-on-one mentoring from Andy. With only seven places available on each tour I think we will achieve this.” Continues Donna.
As with all Kangaroo Island Odysseys tours, the group will be led by an experienced local guide who is passionate about Australia's native flora and fauna and knowledgeable about Kangaroo Island's wildlife and ecosystem.
The Photographic Tour will be transported around the island in a 4X4 modern luxurious vehicle exclusively designed to allow the group access to restricted areas of Kangaroo Island's national parks and private properties where native animals roam freely in their natural habitat.
The tour includes all meals and choice of accommodation at Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat in an Eco Lodge room or Courtyard suite.
The three day, all inclusive Kangaroo Island Photographic Tour departs Saturday September 17th and 22nd October, 2016 and prices start from $1,959 per person, twin/double and from $2,159 per person in a single room.
Prices include return travel to Kangaroo Island with SeaLink (flight options available), travel in a
luxury air-conditioned 4x4 Mercedes Benz Sprinter, 2 night's accommodation at Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat, nightly 2 course dinner, daily continental breakfast and lunches (with wine), refreshments, 3 days of photographic tuition and workshops on location, take photographs of iconic Kangaroo Island locations and supervised landscape and wildlife photography.
