Phukets Luxury Indigo Pearl Resort Offers Dream Wedding & Honeymoon Destination

Indigo Pearl

Phukets award-winning Indigo Pearl resort has emerged as a leading tropical destination for weddings and honeymoons.

Offering lush tropical gardens and pools, a private beach club and romantic restaurants, Indigo Pearl specialises in weddings for two to several hundred people. The resorts dedicated wedding team is able to deliver a variety of ceremonies from a western style service to a traditional Thai ceremony complete with monks and a water blessing.

From the moment the couple arrives at the resort they will be given a VIP service and will meet with the wedding coordinator to discuss special arrangements, wedding vows, the wedding dinner and any other requests the bride or groom may have in mind.

Indigo Pearl offers specially tailored food and beverage menus from executive chef Dion McGrath and couples are welcome to work alongside the resorts talented kitchen team to create the perfect wedding menu.

Wedding services provided by Indigo Pearl to relieve any stresses and strains from the bride and groom include organisation or hair and make-up artists, photographer, entertainment, floral arrangements and more.

On the morning of the big day brides are pampered at the resorts luxurious spa with a choice of relaxing treatments.

Western weddings and renewal of vows take place in the resorts tropical gardens or the traditional Thai restaurant Black Ginger, in the middle of a small lake, surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens with romantic lighting and fountains.

Traditional Thai-style ceremonies with blessings by five monks are also an option, with couples fully briefed on the order of events and all the meanings.

Once the big day is over, couples can continue to enjoy Indigo Pearl in their own private pool villa or suite, enjoying their specially prepared dinner with friends or simply savouring every moment with one another. The following morning a breakfast with sparking wine will be served in the happy couples room.

Wedding packages are priced individually based on requirements but a ten per cent discount is offered throughout 2008.

Brides and grooms staying at Indigo Pearl for their honeymoon can take advantage of the three-day, two-night Lovers Escapade package, valid until October 31 2008, which includes two hours of pampering at the Indigo Spa and a romantic candlelit dinner at Rivet Grill, with a glass of champagne.

Couples are welcomed with a bottle of champagne on arrival, with the package also including daily breakfast in bed on request plus return airport transfers, complimentary personalised bathrobes, a special gift, extensive free recreational options, 20 per cent discount on food and beverage and late check out to 4pm subject to availability.

The rate per couple starts at US$1,384 or US$1,447 in villas and US$1,839 in private pool pavilions.

Spa lovers can enjoy further pampering with a two-hour package tailored for honeymooners, priced at 8,900 Baht which starts with a body scrub, followed by a choice of massage and sensual, stress relieving milky bath, before relaxing over strawberry iced tea and a tropical fruit platter.

Set amidst lush tropical gardens, pools and postmodern art, Indigo Pearl has attracted worldwide acclaim, named one of the best new hotels in the world by Cond Nast Traveler (US), and ranked among the TOP 50 Dream Resorts by Honeymoon and Travel magazine.

Targeting discerning travellers seeking a distinctive cultural experience, the resort was designed by world-renowned architect, interior and landscape designer Bill Bensley, with everything down to the finest detail in keeping with the theme of tin mining, extending from the names of the restaurants and bars to the staff uniforms.
