Iceland is a photographer's dream location. Last season participants taking part in Wild Photography Holidays Northern Lights, Glaciers and Ice Workshops witnessed and photographed spectacular aurora. The sightings included the full range of colours associated with this natural phenomenon. An official NASA video recently stated that the current period of solar maximum activity will continue into the winter of 2014/15. The funky and inspiring locations included in this small group workshop give participants an opportunity to produce exceptional images of both the incredible landscape and the northern lights.
Highlights Include:
• Luminous icebergs
* Surreal turquoise lagoon
• Bizarre glacial landscapes
* Secret Glacier Lagoons
• Dramatic Sunrises and sunsets
• Sea washed ice sculptures
* Wild black beaches
• Ephemeral Aurora Borealis (northern lights)
• Surreal ice caves
• Basalt columns and sea stacks of Vík
• Majestic waterfalls
