Over 30 Percent of Best Western's Australasia Hotels Have Been Recognised for Superior Customer Service with a Certificate of Excellence as Reviewed by Travellers on the World's Largest Travel Site.

Best Western Australasia, part of The World's Biggest Hotel Family, has announced that 56 of its 178 hotels, apartments and resorts in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji have received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence.

The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Establishments awarded the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website.

Jim and Penny Ewan who have owned the award-winning BEST WESTERN Lazy Lizard Motor Inn in Port Douglas, Queensland for four years said it is an honour to be among the highest ranked hotels on TripAdvisor.

"Our 99 percent score on TripAdvisor is a nice reminder of all the people we have been privileged to meet. We really feel humbled by their reviews," Mr Ewan said.

“It's the little things, like being greeted with a smile on check-in, being escorted to your room and cooking dinner out by the pool that guests love the most. We invite everyone to treat our hotel like a home away from home, and this is when you really see people come together and new friendships are formed."
