Persiana Author Heads to Herefordshire

Dewsall Court

The recently launched 'Dinner Parties at Dewsall' series continues in 2016 for a Valentine's Day special on Saturday 13th February with celebrity food writer, Sabrina Ghayour. This event invites guests to defy the convention of the typical Valentine's Day tradition by sharing the occasion with family, friends and an intimate group of other diners at the definitive Grade II listed celebration house located in the Herefordshire countryside.

Iranian born Sabrina Ghayour is a self-taught cook and food writer who has rapidly risen to gastronomic success, winning The Observer Food Monthly's 'Best New Cook Book 2014' with her debut book Persiana. Sabrina is also a familiar face on television, dazzling the likes of C4's Sunday Brunch and BBC's Saturday Kitchen with her Middle Eastern inspired cuisine. Having hosted her own hugely popular supper club 'Sabrina's Kitchen' in London for several years, she brings a new style of cuisine to the successful Dinner Parties at Dewsall.

The four course menu will be inspired by Sabrina's Persian background in an abundant 'Mezze' style feast full of colourful, moreish dishes. Guests will dine in the orangery-style conservatory known for the relaxed atmosphere and lively conversation, encouraged by the open table plan. Typically an exclusive use event venue, Dewsall becomes an 'Open House' for its sociable Dinner Parties, with individual or double rooms available at extremely reasonable rates – essential if planning to sample the expertly chosen wine list and Chase distillery cocktails.

The intimate atmosphere, elegant surroundings and delicious food will provide the perfect balance between romance and fun to guarantee a delicious and truly unforgettable evening.

Tickets are £62 and must be pre-booked. Guests also have the option to stay overnight in one of Dewsall's ten luxury bedrooms that are each complete with their own feature bathroom. Price for the overnight stay is £155 per person including the Valentine's Dinner Party ticket and a locally sourced cooked breakfast in the morning.
