Perfect Festive Gift | Christmas Light Trail
Treat your loved ones to an enchanting experience at Blenheim Palace. Book tickets to take the new Christmas Light Trail, perfect for all the family. Open on selected days until 2 January, discover the magic of Christmas in the illuminated Oxfordshire World Heritage Site.
The unforgettable after dark festive trail will lead visitors along winding paths, beside tranquil waters and through extraordinary historic parkland.
Explore the scented Fire Garden; a circular carpet of dancing flames, adorned with lanterns, set against the backdrop of glittering ancient woodland outlined in Christmas colour that stretches high into the night-sky.
Discover Christmas trees that sing, a swaying lawn of fibre optic colour and sparkling hedgerows.
The lake will be aglow with brightly-lit boats filled with snowflakes and presents while, in the distance, fountain jets dance and the woodland across the great lake vista springs to life in time to much-loved Christmas music.
Other highlights include the fairy-lit arbour and the lakeside Boat House, Santa Claus' Oxfordshire home. Families can pause here to watch a festive tableau.
The waterfall cascades will also be bathed in light as well as being the location of luxury confectioners, The Marshmallowists. Indulge in delicious hot chocolates and toast their famous marshmallows as you watch the 'Capability' Brown Cascades change colour.
Finish the festive experience in the Great Court and fill up on roasted chestnuts, posh dogs and stew whilst children play on the vintage fairground rides including a carousel and Helter Skelter.
The trail has been specially designed to appeal for visitors of all ages to enjoy. The Great Outdoors made magical.
