The Rooftop at QT – QT Perth's hotly anticipated rooftop bar sitting on the 18th floor of Perth's newest design hotel – is now open until late, seven days a week.
It's hard to imagine a more interesting view from a Perth rooftop with the South vantage capturing both cityscape and Perth's natural beauty, with the alfresco area directing eyes to the iconic City of Perth Building, Bell Tower and Swan River.
Hosting up to 200 guests, the split indoor/outdoor space has been thoughtfully designed by QT's longstanding Public Space Designer, Nic Graham, and is set to be the destination for soirees all year round. The décor celebrates an iconic West Australian palette complimented by energetic décor, hand painted artwork depicting cocktail culture and cutting edge sound, populated with tunes curated by QT's Creative Music Director Andrew Lewis.
Tasty contemporary tipples populate the drinks list; 'Rooftop Fashion' is a blend of Bulleit Rye Whisky, Amaro Montenegro and Spiced Orange Bitters and 'The Beezness' a fresh mix of Tanqueray Gin, Poire Williams Liqueur, QT Rooftop Honey and Lemon, topped with seasonal Beer. The QT GnT is an early favourite with Rooftop regulars; West Winds Sabre Gin, Elderflower Quinine Syrup, Lime and Cucumber Soda.
The Rooftop Spritzes menu features four unique mixes, the Bergamot Spritz, the Pink Grapefruit and Yuzu Spritz, the Sugar Snap Spritz and the Strawberry and Plum Spritz.
Under the mandate of Creative Food Director Robert Marchetti and Executive Chef Nic Wood, The Rooftop at QT Perth has a menu that reads like a Top Ten of Bar Bites 'Greatest Hits'. Porchetta Fritters; where suckling pig fritters meets green sauce, Fish Roll; polenta crumbled whiting with a caper, onion parsley salad, lemon and aioli, and the current Number One; The Burger, a Milk Bun, Pasture Fed Beef Patty, Lettuce, Steak Tomato Onion, Asiago Cheese, Pickle and Hand Cut Fries – best paired with a local WA craft brew.
The Rooftop at QT is also available for private events.
