From the organisers of Penzance Farmers Market, Penzance is delighted to be able to host a brand new monthly market, starting Easter Saturday, 26th March at the top of Causewayhead. Penzance Town Market will offer locally grown, reared and created products, with a plethora of stalls ranging from antiques and collectibles, to produce and crafts on the last Saturday of every month, between 9am-2pm.
Penzance Town Market showcases the best of the area, not only with local food, drink and crafts, but also through home-grown musicians, demonstrations and refreshment stalls.
The foodie offering doesn't stop there, as Penzance becomes Cornwall's newest hot spot for up and coming chefs. Recent openings include Bruce Rennie (ex Martin Wishart/Rick Stein) with The Shore, Michelin starred Ben Tunnicliffe and his kitchen at The Tolcarne Inn, adding to the menu, and slowly building themselves a name as the new stars of the South West.
A multitude of independent businesses are spread around the town, ranging from a micro-brewery at The Crown, to a complete Cornish supermarket at MAKE Industries.
