Pentahotel Hong Kong, Kowloon's Flood of Umbrellas Celebrates Countdown To 5 August Opening

Pentahotel

Counting down to its 5 August opening, pentahotel Hong Kong, Kowloon is offering shelter to Hong Kong residents and visitors before it even opens its doors.  On upcoming rainy days, hotel associates will distribute complimentary pentahotel red umbrellas, emblazoned with the PH logo, to tourists and pedestrians in busy Diamond Hill and Kowloon Bay, and popular shopping districts including Tsim Sha Tsui and Central.

"This umbrella giveaway is our way of telling the world that we're all geared up to serve our guests with uncomplicated, hassle-free hospitality, rain or shine," says hotel General Manager Andy So.

Those caught in a downpour should look for the jeans-clad "pentapeople" in a sea of red umbrellas to receive one of their own.  Guests who bring in the red pentahotel umbrella to pentalounge from 6 to 13 August will receive a mini-slice of authentic Italian pizza from the pizzabar.

"Neighbourhood lifestyle is what pentahotels is all about - we're looking forward to welcoming all Hong Kong residents and overseas visitors to a stylish, fun and casual gathering place, designed for 'digital nomads,' drop-in visitors, and the after-work crowd," says Andy.

Pentahotel Hong Kong, Kowloon, the first international brand hotel in the Kai Tak area of Kowloon East, will offer friendly, uncomplicated service for independent-minded travellers and local customers.  Combining the hotel lobby, reception, bar and café into a single venue, pentalounge will be a lively gathering place anchored by eatstreet@pentalounge, offering favourite local Hong Kong dishes, comfort foods and drinks.  The hotel will feature 695 practical, sleek guestrooms, five meeting rooms, a gym and an outdoor pool.

Located several minutes' walk from the Diamond Hill MTR subway station, nearby are the popular Asia ethnic eateries of Kowloon City, historic Kowloon Walled City Park, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, Wong Tai Sin Temple and classical Nan Lian Garden.  For more information, please contact your travel professional, call the hotel directly on +852 3112 8222, log onto the hotel's facebook page at www.facebook.com/pentahotelHongKongKowloon, or visit www.pentahotels.com.
