For those quick-off-the-mark, Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire is highlighting peak season savings on selected 'family-sized' properties on a choice of dates throughout July and August, for bookings made by 17 June.

 

Summer school holiday deals include savings of £173 on seven night stays in Glas Y Dorlan where a week now costs £692. This pretty cottage (sleeping four) is set on the banks of the River Nevern in extensive grounds with lawn, terrace and adjoining paddock. Inside it has lots of character, with exposed stonework and vaulted ceiling, plus a kitchen with Aga.

 

For families who list of priorities include a swimming pool, Weaver's Cottage (sleeping six) is situated at the Ivy Tower Village, a small group of 19 privately-owned cottages at St Florence near Tenby. Facilities, in addition to shared pool, include sauna, gym, tennis court and play area. A peak season week in the cottage - with open-plan living area and conservatory - now costs £890, a reduction of £210.

 

In the bustling seaside town of Newport is Coed Helyg, a spacious, single storey property (sleeping eight in five bedrooms) situated just 200 yards from the beach and with stunning views over Newport Bay. The shops, restaurants, galleries and pubs are nearby and its location is ideal for walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.  Seven nights in the summer school holidays is now priced at £1428, saving £277.

 

Other peak season deals include seven nights in Treneved Lodge - a beautifully restored Pembrokeshire Cottage now costing £754 (saving £133) - along with Llety, a 19th property of character in Newport, priced at £735 (a reduction of £130).
