Park Hyatt Sydney

Park Hyatt Sydney is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc von Arnim as its new general manager effective 2 June 2014.

Mr. Von Arnim takes over the helm at Park Hyatt Sydney from Andrew Mensforth, who led the hotel's dramatic transformation in 2012 and successfully positioned it as one of Australia's leading hotels. Mensforth has been transferred within Hyatt to the Americas as Regional Vice-President, Operations - Latin America and the Caribbean.

In his new role, Mr. Von Arnim will oversee operations of the award-winning 155-room hotel located at Sydney's most desired address. Having previously held the position of Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms at Park Hyatt Sydney from 2004 to 2007, Mr. Von Arnim brings with him a thorough understanding and fondness of the city's premier harbourside hotel.

“We are delighted to welcome Marc back to Australia and to Park Hyatt Sydney. He has an intimate understanding of this very special property and is the ideal individual to continue the development of this unique hotel and maintain the high standards that continue to position it as Sydney's premier luxury hotel,” said Robert Dawson, Area Vice President, Pacific.
