Park Hyatt Sydney

Park Hyatt Sydney continues to uphold its reputation as Sydney's premier hotel when it was once again named Deluxe Hotel Accommodation of the Year Award at the 2014 Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) Awards for Excellence on Wednesday 16 July 2014.

In an evening that celebrated the achievements of hospitality professionals and accommodation providers in New South Wales, the best of the best were honoured at a glittering ceremony in front of a crowd of more than 600 political, business and industry leaders where Park Hyatt Sydney general manager Marc von Arnim received the leading award of the night to much applause and recognition.

Since its transformation in 2012, Park Hyatt Sydney has continued to create significant milestones. Whilst providing luxury experiences and renowned Park Hyatt service to guests, the harbourfront hotel also offers guests unrivalled, iconic views of Sydney's most famous landmarks on the edge of Sydney Harbour.

“We are honoured to receive this highly coveted award from Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) once again. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our team at Park Hyatt Sydney for their continued efforts to take this hotel from strength to strength. Without a committed team, we would not achieve the fantastic results we received tonight” said Park Hyatt Sydney general manager Marc von Arnim.

In a night of successes, Park Hyatt Sydney's signature restaurant The Dining Room also received recognition when it was named Metropolitan Restaurant of the Year; and a special mention awarded to the hotel's director of revenue Oliver Ruf, for receiving a Highly Commended in the Revenue/Yield Manager of the Year category.

The Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) Awards for Excellence are recognised as the nation's premier hospitality awards, honouring the achievement of excellence in a wide range of 31 categories in the accommodation industry. The awards are open to all members of the Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) Division, who meet the high standard nomination criteria.
