On Friday 6 September 2013, Park Hyatt Sydney clinched the coveted positions of Hotel of the Year, Best Luxury Property and Best Day Spa awards at the 2013 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence; once again reinforcing its strong presence as a multi award-winning luxury establishment.

Held at the newly refurbished Sydney Town Hall, over 600 hoteliers and industry attended the highly anticipated gala dinner where some of the Australasian accommodation industry's brightest stars were celebrated. For the past 11 years the Hotel Management (HM) awards has acknowledged the industry's finest hotels for aesthetics, style, design and comforts, and recognised the people behind them.

The HM Awards singled out Park Hyatt Sydney from amongst the country's top 5-star hotels for its consistently high standards of facilities, service and luxury. This is the second time Park Hyatt Sydney has won the magazine's awards for Hotel of the Year and Best Luxury Property since its reopening in 2012 after a dramatic transformation. 

A first for the hotel, THE SPA at Park Hyatt Sydney also stood out amongst some of Australia's best spas when it was announced as Best Day Spa in Australasia.  A new entry into the country's spa offering, THE SPA was commended on all aspects of its atmosphere and ambience, relaxation and treatment zones and its team of highly qualified therapists, who ensure that all spa guests are provided extraordinary spa experiences.

The three awards are a welcome addition to the hotel's other recent wins this year including Deluxe Hotel Accommodation of the Year Award 2013 at the Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) Awards for Excellence 2013, World's Best Hotels -  Conde Nast Traveler USA Gold List and Best Hotel in Sydney at the 2013 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards
